Flat tires usually occur at any time, especially when you least expect them. Usually, flat tires occur when you drive over sharp objects or huge potholes. A flat tire could also be due to extreme tire wear or damage. If it’s your first time experiencing a flat tire, do not panic.

Slowly pull over by the roadside, turn on the hazard lights, and set the parking brakes. Also, get a flashlight if it’s dark. Get the jack, lug wrench, and spare tire, and unfasten the lug nuts using the lug wrench. Mount the jack appropriately to raise the flat tire to a reasonable height above the ground. Disengage the lug nuts further using your hands, and remove the flat tire.

Mount the spare tire onto the wheelbase and install the lug nuts. Return the car to ground level using the jack and fasten the lug nuts tightly. Make sure to have your old tire fixed by the professionals in our service center here at 1st Choice Motors in Madison Heights, VA.
